The Economist’s Banyan in an article about Thailand:

In fact, the protesters are deadly serious about challenging the establishment’s self-appointed right to continue running the country.

(Note: I cannot provide a link to the original article for a reason that should be obvious…)

has anyone reported that 40 ambassadors and representatives of foreign countries visited the redshirts on Rajaprasong yesterday?

it was after their visit that the redshirts announced their offer to the government of dissolution in 30Days and elections in 90days

there was discussion that the country embassies would leave representatives with the redshirts to monitor the situation there

David – That is incorrect. Less than 10 countries visited. Many more went to see Puea Thai, but they wouldn’t go inside the rally site.

It would be interesting to know who went to the rally site. I am surprised anyone went, politically insensitive I would have thought.
