Ok I know there are clashes going on in Bangkok. Troops are firing live rounds and there are horrible injuries and deaths but I’m not going to write about that just yet. For now let me just talk about PAD star man Sondhi Limthongkul who has returned to screens after a trip abroad. Appearing on ASTV to give his views on the situation, he made this typically colourful comment (according to Prachatai):
Sondhi also opines that he does not believe in the majoritarian system because Parliament is a place of evil. He will fight against the one-man-one-vote system because he wants a ‘Dharma-ocracy’ instead. If Mr Abhisit cannot achieve it, there should be a military coup. He adds that no one is bloodthirsty; people are just doing their duties.
Interestingly, the ASTV founder has also quit as leader of the New Politics Party and is said to be renewing his focus on his media role (see Bangkok Post).

He should be careful. It appears that the shooters have been practicing and are now a bit more accurate and using a larger caliber for assassinations

Sondhi finally lost it. Teetering on the edge for a long time, now he finally tipped over. Everyone knows that many Thais like to live in a delusional world populated by Ayuthya and Sukhothai heroes and warlords, but this guy is a whole different thing.
He wants locking up.
