I was considering doing something on this topic, but the feedback I was getting was anyone from any party other than the Pheu Thai party gets a bad name and risks getting voted out of office. Thaksin is just a poison pill everyone in politics needs to stay away from no matter what country they are from Thailand or other. If it was in the USA it could be comparable to being buddies with the KKK.

[...] But wait...may be the justification of government's use of armed military during April and May incidents is not necessary, because the official (government's) version of the story is that "all violence was perpetrated by “some” red-shirt protesters and mysterious unaligned paramilitary forces. None of the deaths were caused by the army, who, lest we forget, were authorised to fire live rounds in the protest zone" (quote from tumblerblog, "When being Thai means believing Suthep").
"..... we are seeing the familiar act of buying more time to remain in power..... "

Tumbler - be grateful for small mercies. When these foaming-at-the-mouth ranters focus on their obsession, they let slip such nuggets of truth. Water dripping on a stone.

It's a grave error not to listen to dissenting voices. The whitewash is most unpleasant. The Thai media need to step up and recognise that the job is to speak truth to power. Not align with power as it rotates.
